    Oreck XL Air Purifier

    I was able to use the Oreck for about 3 days then...our little dog started acting strange. She didn’t want to be in the house (she is a house dog) and she began throwing up. To make a long story short ... a very expensive vet bill that proved her bloodwork, etc. was fine. We turned off the purifier and after a couple of days our dog began to settle down again. We have tried a couple of times since to use it ... within 30 minutes, she wants outside again and won’t come back in the house. The unit is quiet so she is experiencing something that is not evident to us. Perhaps that is the sparking sound when particles hit the filtering unit. We are satisfied with the purifier as far as we have been able to use it.

    Keeps me Breathing

    Electronically removes dust and Pollen from the air in a sealed room. This is my 2nd air cleaner, by Oreck, my 1st one for about 20 years. I expected a horrible Pollen season, so I needed to add a 2nd one for two rooms. I have cleaned the cell many times and it is a breeze. Love my Oreck XL...

    I would buy this again with no hesitation!

    The unit does as promised. It is quiet on the low and medium setting. The high setting is powerful so it does put out some noise but not disturbing. At least you know it's a well made and powerful blower motor.
